What is DT Company?

The DT Company is the ‘Competitive Program’ offered in our school. The “Company” is designed to give dancers with a strong level of commitment the opportunity to take their dancing to a higher level. All competition choreography is created with an emphasis on stage presence, teamwork and fun, with all of our competitors striving to accomplish their personal best. Most DTC choreography is done OUTSIDE regular classes. DT Company attends 3-4 competitions/festivals per season in and around Alberta.

 

 

How Do I become a DT Company Member?

To be considered for the company, you must meet the following criteria:

• Attend the mandatory Company audition for placement in September
• Students must be 7 yrs of age by December 31 of the season for Full Member
• Students must be enrolled in ballet
• Must be taking the technique class in the discipline they wish to compete in
• *Pre-Comp Team – Age 5-7 yrs will only participate in 2-3 competitions
